Picking the right "hosting service" can make the difference between online success and failure. In addition, the wrong hosting service could cost you tons of extra cash or provide an insecure place where all of your hard work could be lost or hacked into, causing irreparable damage.

"A great value. Our #1 choice."

After reviewing the Top 10 web hosting companies, there was no doubt that WebHostingPad.com stood above the rest and took our top choice.

To be sure, a few other web hosting companies had come pretty close to the top spot, but WebHostingPad.com and its incredible value-packed service, reliability and easy-to-use platform really sealed its first place spot among our critics.

First, let's talk about their incredible value offering of web hosting services. For as little as $3.99 a month, you get a secure hosting service with unlimited bandwidth, unlimited emails and auto-responders, unlimited disk space, and spam protection, among others.

While, the package would be pretty good on its own, you also get some pretty practical web-based tools that are not only useful, but also needed. This tells us that this company is not out to "nickel and dime" its customers. There are no hidden fees, so what is offered is more than what you get, which is what we liked the most.

In addition, you also get a free data back-up solution for your website, which means, you don't have to worry about losing all of your work or data storage in case the worst case scenario happens. Also, you get unlimited sub-domains, unlimited database space, and a free site builder program, just in case you need a bit more time to build your site on your own.

Another important factor we carefully looked at was the reliability of their service. When you are depending on your website to be up and running 24 hours a day, and be fast, and error-free, hosting server reliability is essential. Anything short of that, would lead to a decrease in web traffic, a drop in confidence, and loss of potential sales or conversions for you. With WebHostingPad.com, we were very impressed at the "up-time" we experienced as our websites we up 100% of the time without a hitch.

While value and reliability are important, we also feel the ability to be able to actually use your service was important as well. We know that if web hosting service and all the other tools are easy to use, then overall satisfaction with the service increases and you are able to do more. Even if a service offers all the bells and whistles, we found that they are worthless if you can't use them! But with WebHostingPad.com, we loved the easy to use interface.

Throughout our trial, we called customer service several times and found that they are very helpful and knowledgeable and clearly addressed our questions without any upsell sales pitches.

The Verdict: Excellent value, totally reliable, and very easy to use.

2. BlueHost

A very close runner up was Blue Host, who has skyrocketed as a very dependable web hosting service the last couple of years. According to http://www.cheaphostreviews.com BlueHost is one of the hosting companies who have really bucked the web hosting industry, offering plenty of value and tools for customers. Just as with our first pick, you get unlimited domain hosting, database space, and unlimited data transfers, which is really great if you have many websites, a very large website or need to transfer over several sites into one main account.

In addition to the value, you can use their free list of site-builder templates, free email and unlimited email accounts, email forwarding, standard spam protection, and among others.

While, our first selection offered considerable value, we found that Blue Host came in at a very close second. The slight down side, is that they didn't have quite the long list product offering than our first choice, which was hard to beat.

Despite that, BlueHost remains a very solid web hosting solution for anyone wanting to upload their website on the web with a high quality and reliable company and is our solid second pick.

3. GoDaddy Hosting

You may have heard of GoDaddy, as they have been the premium web hosting service for many years running. We chose GoDaddy as our third and final choice out of the ten hosting companies we reviewed.

Certainly, GoDaddy has a well-deserved reputation of being the one-stop shop for many consumers who want to get a website online.

They continue to deliver quite a few great options for website owners who have several domains to develop and work with. Yet, while they have decent customer service, we often found ourselves being given a sales pitch for everything we called for, including technical support. We also discovered that there plenty of al la carte add-ons that needed to be purchased separately, which gave us the slight feeling of being "nickel and dimed." If you're not careful, you could be paying for things that you don't really need.

Despite that, overall, GoDaddy is another strong pick among the top ten hosting services and earns its place as the third choice from our batch of reviews.
